Don't say Inshallah in supplication:
Narrated Anas (RA):Allah's Apostle (SAW) said, "When anyone of you appeal to Allah for something, he should ask with determination and should not say, 'O Allah, if You wish, give me.' For nobody can force Allah to do something against His Will.
(Bukhari Volume. 8 : No. 350)

wow, I have been a victim of this - saying inshallah in my duas- inshallah after today I will not!
since we are on the topic of supplication, is it meaningless to ask for such little, specific things ? or should one be general and ask for forgiveness etc.
Don't beleive in foretellers:
Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):Some people asked Allah's Apostle (SAW) about fore-tellers. He said. "They are nothing"They said, "O Allah's Apostle! Sometimes they tell us of a thing which turns out to be true."Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A Jinn snatches that true word and pours it into the ear of his friend (the fore-teller) (as one puts something into a bottle). The foreteller then mixes that word with one hundred lies."

I think you mean asking Allah worldly small things? I do sometimes ask Allah very small things .
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: "The Prophet never used bad language neither a 'Fahish nor a Mutafahish. He used to say 'The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.'

Strange - How the streets are empty at the time of Fajr. But just a few minutes later, they get busy, even crowded, with people rushing to work & schools...

Be in the company of righteous people:

The Prophet said: "The best fasting after Ramadan is the fasting in the Muharram month".
Al Nawawi said: 'Our scholars say: and among the fasting that is desirable is the fasting of the four Hurum (forbidden) months: ‘Dhul Qida, Dhul Hijjah, Muharram and Rajab and the best among them is Muharram'.
When nails grow, we cut the nails, not our fingers...!!!
Similarly when the misunderstandings grow,
We should cut misunderstandings, not the Relations! ♥

Towards the end of December 2008: the slaughter of Palestinian-civilians seems endless and their cry for help fall on deaf ears.
Muslims have 119,381,333 million men available in their militaries, and 72,247,573 in military manpower fit for service.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Behold, the Imam (Khalifa) is but a shield from behind whom the people fight and by whom they protect themselves." (Muslim)
Don't up while praying:
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said,"What is wrong with those people who look towards the sky during the prayer?" His talk grew stern while delivering this speech and he said, "They should stop (looking towards the sky during the prayer); otherwise their eye-sight would be taken away."
(Sahih Bukhari:Book #12, Hadith #717)
And say to My slaves that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitan (Satan) verily, sows disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is to man a plain enemy. [Surah Isra 17:53]
Towards the later days of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him), he was commanded to distinguish himself from the People of the Book in their religious practices.
Control your tongue and be humble:
Whether you speak in secrecy or aloud, (it is all the same to Allah). He even knows the secrets that lie hidden in the breasts of people. Would He not know, He Who has created, when He is All-Subtle, All-Aware?
(Surah Al-Mulk 67.13-14)
Be humble and try to talk softly and in a low voice even you are angry
Don't ask about anyone:
Jubayr ibn Nufayr reported that Mu'adh ibn Jabal said, "If you love someone, do not quarrel with him and do not annoy him. Do not ask others about him, for the one you ask might be his enemy and thus tell you things about him that are not true and thus break you apart." (Bukhari : Book of Manners No, 545)
Many problems in our life would end if we started to talk to each other instead of talking about each other.
Respect Quran:
Men! Now there has come to you an exhortation from your Lord, a healing for the ailments of the hearts, and a guidance and mercy for those who believe. Tell them (O Prophet!): 'Let them rejoice in Allah's grace and mercy through which this (Book) has come to you. It is better than all the riches that they accumulate.
Surah Younus 10:57-58
Don't oppress anyone:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said,
"Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds),
But if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."
(Sahih Bukhari:Book #43, Hadith #629)
