May God bless us with discomfort at easy answers, half truths, superficial relationships, so that we may live deep within our hearts.
May God bless us with anger at injustice, oppression and exploitation of people so that we may work for justice, equality and peace.
May God bless us with tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation and war, so that we may reach out our hand to comfort them and change their pain into joy.
And may God bless us with enough foolishness to believe that we can make a difference in the world, so that we can do what others claim cannot be done, to bring justice and kindness to all.
Sayyida `Aisha narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
“Whoever seeks to acquire the pleasure of Allah at the expense of people’s anger, Allah will be pleased with him and make the people pleased with him. Whoever seeks to acquire the pleasure of the people at the expense of Allah’s anger, Allah will be angry at him and make the people angry with him.” [Saheeh Ibn Hibban, Shuayb Al-Arna'ut said that its chain of narrators was hasan.]
I complained to Waki' about the weakness of my memorisation, So he instructed me to abandon disobedience; He informed me that knowledge is a light, And the light of Allah is not given to a sinner.
The life of this world is our journey, NOT destination !!! So... Be always the Best Traveller... who always wish to go back to our Final Home... in Jannah !!! ♥

A better translation of this quote might be as follows:
Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi narrates: ‘Abd al-Baqi ibn ‘Abd al-Karim al-Mu’addib informed me: ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Umar al-Khallal reported to us: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ya‘qub ibn Shaybah narrated to us: my grandfather narrated to us: Ya‘qub ibn Ahmad narrated to me: I heard al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali say: I heard Yazid ibn Harun when a man asked him, “O Abu Khalid! Who is the best in Fiqh from those you have seen?” say,“Abu Hanifah.”
Al-Hasan said: I asked Abu ‘Asim al-Nabil, “Is Abu Hanifah a better faqih or Sufyan (al-Thawri)?” He said, “The slave of Abu Hanifah is a better faqih than Sufyan!” (Tarikh Baghdad 15:468)
Dr. Bashshar ‘Awwad Ma‘ruf comments, “Its isnad is hasan.”
There is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft. When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a life, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness." -The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini

"Anyone who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy. Anyone who does not forgive will not be forgiven. Anyone who does not turn in repentance will not be turned to nor will he be protected or guarded."
