The UK government have agreed to take Syrian Muslim orphans in the next 5-10 years, 6000 non-Muslims have registered to take these children but only a few Muslims have registered.
More Muslims are needed for fostering the children to avoid these children going to non-Muslim families or even homosexual partners as they also have the right to foster/adopt children. It is a grave situation and it is our duty to protect these Muslim children.
The process can take up to 6 months. The UK government will fund ALL costs. Whoever has the time, room or have no children or might know anyone who would be interested are desperately urged to register.
With regard to the virtue of sponsoring orphans and the great reward for that, Muslim (2983) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said:
"The one who sponsors an orphan, whether it is a relative of his or not, he and I will be like these two in Paradise", and Maalik pointed with his forefinger and middle finger.

This is not just about getting reward for it in Jannah, but it is about ALL MUSLIMS being held accountable for what happens to these children. That's right, it is an obligation on ALL of the Muslims in UK to take these Muslim orphans in to protect them and their religion. Failure to do so would result in abandoning them and thus sinning and so liable for punishment.
All the expenses are paid for by the government, so there is no excuse for anyone to not do it.
