    A bit suprising - Malaysia to extradite Dr Zakir Naik to India if requested

    Report bad ads?

    Malaysia Government takes U turn and is now willing to surrender him to india for trial and potential execution.

    Perhaps they were threatened with sanctions and being declared a "terror state " , if they did not cooperate for extradition .

    I guess they thought it would be better to sacrifice him and save the country from the trouble and being turned into another syria,iraq, yemen afghanistan etc .

    Your thoughts . What do you think would happen to him now?

    India wouldn't extradite him, they know they'll face so many terrorist attacks to get him freed

    probably just a pr deal where Malaysia shows it is good friends with India so hindu radicals have the excuse to carry on trading with Malaysia

    Re: A bit suprising - Malaysia to extradite Dr Zakir Naik to India if requested

    They will extradite him . The legal process is almost complete and they will soon be making a request to Malaysian government. I would have been a bit more optimistic if the case was going to be fought in international court of justice instead of indian court which can be controlled by government.

    They consider him too much of a threat to future of Hinduism because of his popularity and success at conversions. I don't see anything less than life imprisonment or death sentence.
    Time for him to pass on the baton to His son fariq to carry on the dawah work into future and next generation. thanks

    I do not see any real proof from his speech that he supports terrorism in any way.

    his speech is quoted out of context. Its better Dr Zakir Naik prepares a good smart attorney to face those fake, twisted charges and goes to India and faces it.

    ofcourse they'd want to give their country people the impression that they seriously want to extradite him but I doubt it, if they do than I'll eat my hat ...

    Re: A bit suprising - Malaysia to extradite Dr Zakir Naik to India if requested

    all Malaysia and India stand to loose is business with one another by malaysias refusal to extradite and Malaysia can do without a little India trade, they wouldn't extradite zakir just for that

    India has no power to declare Malaysia a terrorist state and USA will not do India's bidding and suffer the harm of defriending an oil rich country like Malaysia over a 'non-entity' like zakir!

    so the only way this makes any real sense is just the PR trade continuation!

    - - - Updated - - -

    the comments of politicians and media will have us believe zakir is about to be extradited, this additionally serves as some sensational story to sell, just like the media will have us believe that war is about to kick off with north Korea 1 month ago!

    Going to India is suicide.he will be tortured in private. He offered a video conference,live TV conference, or a physical meeting in malaysia but those bunch of cowards did not take up the offer and only want a private conversation.

    He has already said that he only wants to be challenged in a malaysian or international court
    See the video below to understand more about why he doesn't want to go to India .

    Re: A bit suprising - Malaysia to extradite Dr Zakir Naik to India if requested

    I think ultimately Allah is playing a part in this ...

    The consensus says not believing in eternal jannah and jahannum is kufr

    I once saw a video of Zakir Naik explaining that the life hereafter won't necessarily be eternal so it seems he could have been spreading dangerous beliefs:

    https://youtu.be/s9MM3HJQxM0

    1) matters about Islam that everyone knows, which even a child raised among Muslims would know, technically termed ma‘lum min al-din bi d-darura or “necessarily known as being of the religion”;

    (2) matters that not everyone knows;

    (3) and matters that are disagreed upon even by “those who know,” the ulema or scholars.

    Affirmation or denial of tenets of faith within each category vary in their eternal
    consequences because of their relative accessibility, and the individual’s opportunities to find them out.

    Things That Everyone Knows

    To deny anything of the first category above constitutes plain and open unbelief.

    It includes such things as denying the oneness of Allah, the attributes of prophethood, that prophetic messengerhood has ended with Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace); the resurrection of the dead; the Final Judgement; the recompense; THE EVERLASTINGNESS OF PARADISE AND HELL; the obligatoriness of the prayer, zakat, fasting Ramadan, or the pilgrimage; the unlawfulness of wine or adultery; or anything else that is unanimously concurred upon and necessarily known by Muslims, since there is no excuse not to know these things in the lands of Islam; though for someone new to the religion, or raised in a wilderness, outside of the lands of Islam, or some other place where ignorance of the religion is rife and unavoidable, their ruling becomes that of the second category. As Imam Nawawi explains:

    Any Muslim who denies something that is necessarily known to be of the religion of Islam is adjudged a renegade and an unbeliever (kafir) unless he is a recent convert or was born and raised in the wilderness or for some similar reason has
    been unable to learn his religion properly. Muslims in such a condition should be
    informed about the truth, and if they then continue as before, they are adjudged
    non-Muslims, as is also the case with any Muslim who believes it permissible to commit adultery, drink wine, kill without right, or do other acts that are necessarily known to be unlawful (Sharh Sahih Muslim, 1.150).

    https://archive.org/stream/NuhHaMimK...akfir_djvu.txt

    ps: above excerpts are from a Sufi Scholar but he's also an Islamic Scholar too so above should be correct as it's nothing to do with Sufism

    Re: A bit suprising - Malaysia to extradite Dr Zakir Naik to India if requested

    @AbdullahAziz

    Bro.

    Allahu aalam , is it a punishment from Allah ? but this video seems to be at least more than 10 years old or when Dr Zakir Naik Started his dawah career. But Allah made him successful is what was seen in the later years. So we better leave it to Allah, The Haakim.

    On seeing this video I understand that Dr Zakir is just comparing the The Awwal, The Aakir , the attributes of Allah to our human 's eternal existence. which is right, both are uncomparable , the attributes of Sifat , nature of Allah cannot be compared to no one BUT Allah himself . That does not mean he says that Humans will not have an eternal life. such questions by the asker in that video on the nature of Allah or comparing the unique nature Sifat of Allah are better avoided (satanic & Hadith had told not ask too many questions) or should be considered as muthashabihath and not to be much discussed imo

    for example all the verses of the Glorious Quran says hell for eternity for disbelievers but there is some muthashabihath words here (bolded red below) in one verse which we better leave as Muthashabihath and Allah knows the best .

    Muhsin Khan, 6:128
    And on the Day when He will gather them (all) together (and say): "O you assembly of jinns! Many did you mislead of men," and their Auliya' (friends and helpers, etc.) amongst men will say: "Our Lord! We benefited one from the other, but now we have reached our appointed term which You did appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place, you will dwell therein forever, except as Allah may will. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

    Being charged about the crime called "money laundering" seems to be a good excuse to imprison unwanted political person. Mr Putin and his regime favor it too when in the Russian political life someone´s popularity will rise too much. For example many possible president candidates have been in prison because of the money laundering. Maybe same tactic is used also in India.

    It's a matter of weighing harm and benifits; no point in locking one man up (for no real reason really) and losing countless civilians in terrorist attacks

    That's why the America killed bin Laden, there would have been endless terrorist attacks to get him freed

    Zakir Naik doesn't have a terrorist network but Muslims will be so outraged at India's audacity and the extremists will go berserks

    We can´t justify crimes against humanity and human rights in one country because some others in some other countries may do the similar crimes. Every crime against humanity is separate and we have to take it seriously. Human rights organization make usually their work in very hard conditions and you should take their reports the most seriously, not only deny them because you don´t like the truth they tell about.
