can I do stuff other than praying a prayer mat? for example sport movements such as push ups and stuff...

Prayer mats aren't "holy" in Islam. so technically, u can use it for other stuff. But i guess its best to avoid using it for other things so that it remains clean, if you are also going to pray on it.
