My hero's Kate Atkinson because she's an ace writer with a tremendous wealth of talent. AND she's helped me out in writing my thesis on some of her works.

I'm also a big fan of my grandfather, may he rest in peace. Soviet general, based in Ukraine for most of his career, original from the Don and the cossacks of that region. very intelligent, kind, hardworking, fair-minded, loving human being. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of him and feel a terrible hole in my heart that has emerged there since he left.
