TERMINALLY ILL REVERT BROTHER WOULD LIKE VISITORS & HELP
There is a revert brother who is terminally ill. His name is Leslie
Craddle and he is dying of stomach cancer with which he has been
suffering for 7 years. He converted to Islam 2 years ago and when
my husband last spoke to him his faith seemed strong. However, he
is not getting enough support from Muslims. He and his non-Muslim
family have requested that Muslims visit him, but very few brothers
have visited. He is very weak and asleep most of the time from a
combination of exhaustion and pain killers. When asked to make
dhikr, he responded that he was too tired. His mother is not
familiar with how Muslims take care of their dead and mentioned
that she wants someone responsible to take charge. He must not be
forgotten otherwise she will have him
buried at her local church!
* Brothers: Please visit him so that he can constantly be encouraged
to make dhikr and remember Allah and prepare for his meeting with
his Lord. He can only tolerate short visits so you need to plan for
a 5-10 minute visit. Visitors can just turn up at any time and the
receptionist will show them where to go.
* Sisters: Please send cards, letters, etc, and encourage your
children to do so. It doesn't need to be complicated; a du'a with a
picture drawn by a child are a beautiful and inspiring combination.
Address: Leslie Craddle, St Michael's Ward, Trinity Hospice,
30 Clapham Common North Side, Clapham, London, SW4 0RN
A couple of brothers are looking into what can be done for his
funeral. Please keep an ear out in case requests are made for
donations to cover any costs, and also for ladies to
attend the
janazah prayer and speak to his female relatives. Finally, do
remember him and all others who are suffering in your prayers,
and make an effort to look out for people in similar conditions.
This is the time to show that we have a community that is capable
of establishing the rites of Islam and that we can rise to the
challenges and difficulties that our community throws us.
For more information you can contact the Hospice on 020 7787 1000.

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhee Rajioun
Indeed to Allah we belong and to Him we will return.
He has decreed death at an appointed time; it is not delayed for the
coward nor brought forward for the brave.
Our brother Leslie passed away last night. May Allah give him shahaadah as he died of a stomach cancer.
These are times to remember that we will soon be in our graves: consider when Allah said:
"O you who believe fear Allah and let a soul look to what it has put forth for the morrow"
His janaazah will be on Monday 24th after the Dhuhr Salaah @ Balham
Masjid. London/uk
Any muslims in london please go to this brother janaazah for the rest of us please lest make dua for him it is indeed the least you can do for the sake of Allah ..
Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar

All of them worship out of fear of fire

of gardens or fire i have no opinion
I seek no exchange for my Dearest Love
