Rumour?? - 17th Alton Towers

Ok i know this is weird and probably not true at all but a man called up islam channel and said he thinks something terrible is going to happen on the 17th. He said he tried his utmost best to be accepted wiv his friends in the trip and the way he was denied lead him to believe that there will be some kind of setup for muslims at alton towers...

careful, one of the rides might be tampered with

that sounds really scary. But I don't think anyone would plan that. There is no way they would get away with it.

I think we should remember the following ayah:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْماً بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ

O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.

Surah al Hujuraat ayah 6.

Now before someone gets confused, I'm not calling Abd'Majid an evil person! But this is a general rule in Islam to verify something before passing it on to the third person. I understand that you posted it in order to find out whether it was indeed authentic or not, but there is no need for others to believe in it until it has been proven to be true.

salaam..... it did not occur on the 17th and even if it did .....it would have been a coincedence....no-one has the knowledge of the future accept ALLAH(SWT)
