Local people of Dhaka , Barisal, Sylhet , Noakhali , Chittagong etc etc ....they have their different dialects . It's almost impossible for others to converse / understand their local languages.
Sis I'd like to learn any type of Bangali, Shudho would be helpful. Are you in the sisters section?

Hehe..I was wondering what was with the 'ami samaka'
It's so cool you're trying to learn different languages..
I really need to make an effort to learn arabic and brush up on my Bengali speaking and reading skills myself..
What about randomly joining in the Bengali thread? You still gonna continue putting up random words to be translated?
And then also differentiating between the spoken versions of the words in which they differ..Writing wise there's only one..which is standard Bangla, like we have standard English.
Good luck!![]()
