its 1am here why aint i sleepin
aint dropped a tear but my sins b heaping
funny coz i dnt feel the fear

but still kinda cautious
if u felt wat i feel u'd be nautious

im tryin everyday
but my desires are pryin away
im goin astray im tryna
keep it at bay
im cryin in shame
coz i wish i cud keep tame
this nafs o mine
but i aint passin no blame

i jus wish i cud spend a day sincere
spend a whole night in fear
wish i could bawl tears
while im tryna hold it bak whilst
it jus continues to seer

so, i gave u a look inside this heart
who knows after this night
i might jus depart
so
ask Allah for my guidance
so dat my heart finally turns in complete obediance... ​

I just sat there for a second after reading that... It kinda hit me..

JazakAllah khayr and may Allah (swt) forgive your sins and grant you nothing less than Jannatul Firdaws. Ameen!

i think past 'ulama use to stay up all night worshippin coz they knew if they didnt, they'd wake up feeling like one of us .... serious
 
i can imagine myself saying that, i can sooo relate mashalllah! Ameen to the ad3iyah
