Yes I know what you mean, it looks bad.. I had it in England and it was yummy.. I tried it here in the US in an indo restaurant and it was bloody awful but it didn't sour me on it.. has exactly what I am looking for in an appetizer..

All this cream reminds me of panna cotta with blueberries

It is alot like Panna Cotta but tastes soooooooooooooo much better.. especially if you couple if with a sharp drink..
really very agreeable together.. In my humble opinion...
also they tend to have more layers between this custard like cream..hence the name
Mille Feuille (a thousand leaves)

all these desserts seem abit too posh....when i want something sweet after a greasy meal i just compromise and get a cheap 1 pound cake and pour some old custard that’s passed its sell by date
