Here are some more snow pictures. Because the temperature is so low the snow is very powdery and dry. It is similar to fine sand and the wind is blowing it into drifts. Very similar to sand dunes in the desert.

This is just the start, later in the year the 3 buildings seen behind the car will be fully covered. Although the actual snow depth will only be 4 or 5 feet deep, the drifts will be over 20 feet high. The yard may end up clear as the snow blows, but it will bury anything that is in the way of the shifting drifts.
