I'm not sure what these people are trying to achieve.

Today they are commoved -- tomorrow they will rise to battle! that is what is the point.. something like this might be the drive to awaken this sleeping umma.. When I lived in the Old country, I didn't even know Malaysians or Indonesians were Muslims... the govt. does a really good job making everyone feel secular in their respective places.. but we are not secular, we are made secular by despots... We are one umma and we seek our old glory and our empires.. there will be solidarity insha'Allah!
