Dua - a weapon for the believer.

Is it true that if something is pre-ordained and decreed by Allah SWT for us, if you constantly make dua for certain things and other things to not happen, then the dua you make will fight against what was decreed for you and might not end up taking place? Is that realy tru?

Can I pray for a couple to split up? No they are not family ties and they are not married? Or woould I get punished for wishing that? :-[

Also, if I don't get the person I want in this life, will I get them in the next life?

Becareful what your intention is and what you pray for. As they are not married, pray for their guidence. InshaAllah, that is the best for you and them.
