GAZA ADS: DONATE NOW FOR CEASEFIRE CALL

Gaza: Enough is Enough

..we're launching a major media campaign for a ceasefire -- starting in the US, where a decent voice for peace is urgently needed, with a big ad in the Washington Post’s influential op-ed section and follow-up meetings with Security Council powers

..This ad costs US$32,057. If just 1000 of us give $32 (€24) we could fund this -- if we raise more, we can expand our efforts. Can you help by making a donation?

Any donation, large or small, will help to amplify our global ceasefire call -- you can donate now using the form below - and please, if you can't afford to give financially, spread the word about our petition. Thanks for your support --

Donate now below!

Time to Help Gaza! Here’s How

‘Encompassed by blood, darkness, and terror’ This is the best way to describe the people of Gaza, as the Israeli military operation enters its third week.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza, which was described nine months ago as the worst since 1967, is growing worse day by day.
The number of casualties is constantly increasing as Israel insists on attacking the people of Gaza by air, sea and ground. Civilians are being targeted.

There is no safe place for anyone to go as their homes, mosques, schools, marketplaces, and hospitals have been targeted; even UN refuges have been under attack.
About 300 children, 200 women and 12 relief workers have been killed during the last few days.
In an attempt to confront this crisis, many international and Islamic relief organizations have organized aid campaigns to provide medical and food supplies, to help the people of Gaza survive.
It is definitely time to lend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in Gaza, and remember that the least support can make a difference in the lives of these innocent people.
To know more about how to donate or volunteer to help the people of Gaza, here are some links and contacts of organizations sorted by location.

Christian Aid is calling on Gordon Brown to push for the European Union to suspend its talks with Israel on upgrading relations until the UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire and full humanitarian access in Gaza is implemented to the full.

To email Gordon Brown, follow this link.

Thank you Glo. Human Appeal International are indeed doing what they can.

But, please, please brothers and sisters, if you can't donate, get your family, relatives and friends to do so. There isnt enough aid getting through. Donate to the right people who are working there now.

^
I heard that there were continuing problems with getting resources and aid into Gaza. imsad
(Not that that should deter anybody from making donations!)

13 Isreali's dead compared to around 800 Palestinians at last count

I heard it's more than 800 :(

O Allah , what happened to the Muslim World ? We don't have courage to expell Ambassadors of the Zionists from our courtries, we are not asking to boycott Isreal . Are we even praying enough for our oppressed brothers & sisters ?

And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: 'Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Yourside one who will protect; and raise for us from Yourside one who will help!') (An-Nisaa' 4:75).

what's the guarantee this aid will reach ppl in Gaza...???

on one side it's surrounded by israel....on other Egypt has sealed borders... on 3rd side is sea which i don't know is under whose control....

look at "Rafah wall" , "Military Fence" & "Water Barier" then who the help would reach them???

I agree. Until the borders are opened to aid agencies it must be difficult to bring aid into Gaza and distribute them.
Although I did read about secret tunnels through which aid, food (and weapons) can be smuggled in.

In any case, difficulties with aid reaching the people in need are hopefully only temporarily, and should not be a reason not to donate money for the cause!

I wonder whether preventing humanitarian aid into the country counts as a war crime? :?
