Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

Alhamdulillah I have sabr but when ya Rabb commands I do something that I cannot then, astaghfirullah, I have no sabr! I'm talking about Arabic and the Qur'an :D I'm desperate imsad to start learning but cannot find a suitable course near me, NW London, at a convenient time, as I work full-time, and that is also for complete beginners. Would anyone be able to suggest anything, any course that they know of insha'Allah.. what about online learning, home tutor?

JazakAllah khayran

Assalamu alaikum Brothers and jazakAllah for your replies

I am at peace, I think..! , there is a school close to me and although I missed the start of the new course, I have decided to wait until the next course takes place in September. It is Quranic Arabic, and just what I am seeking, alhamdulillah. In the meantime, insha'Allah I will use my time wisely to improve my salat and study more. Insha'Allah I can also practice my arabic alphabet! Nothing should prevent further knowledge insha'Allah.

Assalamu alaikum wR wB

Brothers, jazakAllah for your replies and the useful information. Alhamdulillah Allah swt has made it easy for me so far, and so Alhamdulillah for a 7 month old revert, though it feels I've been Muslim for much longer now :-) ,guidance by ya Rabb has been swift alhamdulillah. He was the one that walked with me each night to the mosque to pray taraweeh, as an intense way of learning how to pray, the one that rises me up for salat Fajr each day, the one that made it easy for me to wear hijab 24/7. Alhamdulillah.. ya Rabb. And along the journey, mash'Allah, supportive tips and information from all my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam such as the above. And even though we know the basics, it doesn't hurt any of us to reflect on how we perform the basics.. can we do it even better!!

If we have the intention to do everything as best as we can for our Rabb he will then surely show us the way.

Alhamdulillah I have knowledge of the arabic alphabet... so, it is down to me now, armed with that knowledge, to practice it at home whilst i wait for the course I want to join to come around again. Allah swt gave me some tools to use during this period so I have no excuse, just have to stop being lazy and practice! :-)

JazakAllah again brothers..

Fi aman Allah
