Assalamo alaikom / Hello ,

Why some (many?) muslims would fail the trials of end times ?
What should we do to survive those ?

Wassalam / Goodbye

Yep that's it. Considering the end times we know many signs of which some has
happened ( not easy to prove though ) some not, but I wonder what would be
the characteristics of those moslems who fail trials and those who can pass
them in those specific times ? Lack of imaan for instance, but please give some
hadith or other info and your thoughts for answers.

thanks
wassalam

Simply because they're stupid, have weak Imaan, and are blind (metaphorically).

EDIT: By saying this I'm not suggesting that I have a strong Imaan and so am guaranteed to succeed if faced with fitnah. I was generally talking about the misguided ones. And who'll be amongst them, only Allah knows.

What should we do to survive those ?

Know.

As a matter of fact majority of people would consider themselves intelligent ,
moslems would say we have strong imaan and so on. How can we be sure that
we are not one of them ?

Also still I would say that due to emphasizes on those particular trials they
should be considered with greater care than ordinary ones.

Of course they would.

We can't. But we can try our best to gain the knowledge and act upon things that'll prevent us from failing during those times of fitnah. It's like hell and paradise. We don't know what's in store for us on the Day of Judgement. But we gain the 'ilm and act according to what we know is right (according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah)... And leave the rest to Allah (swt).

Hold on to the quran and the sunnah......if you want to escape the one eyed monster and his followers

they will fail-if they do-because they follow their sect or sheikh, their culture or traditions instead of Islam as the prophet came with it.

exactly, we are most likely to fail because we are divided more than anything else.
