Well there you have yet another advantage of being male.

You don't hear '17 year old boy marries 112 year old woman!' :shade:

It could happen ,you know:p That's a must-attend wedding:shade:

loool that girl will be rich in a few years time

:sl:

23 ?! 36?!? 80?! offspring

May Allah make them all righteous, steadfast knowledgeable Muslims :D. We could use a couple, 23..or..36..or maybe 80 more wouldn't hurt at all.

SubhanAllah!!! this world is going really strange !!!

Anyways that is their matter in marriage, for some brothers and sisters here, could you please watch your words and stop making fun of them?? I dont need to mention names hers.....

just a reminder in case you forgot *They are muslims just like u*

you are backbiting them, do you have that much hasanat to give away in this thread?? ^o)

is this marriage even islamically allowed?? think about the girl i mean. no girl in her right mind would ever do this. there are chances that her family has got her married to the man for money. she must be forced or tricked... you know in some cultures, girls have no rights over themselves.
so does anyone have some idea is this kind of marriage right? because whats the point of marriage from the girl's point of view? and shouldnt the groom be punished for wanting to destroy the life of a 17 year old like this?
p.s. i found the comments like respect their marriage, dont judge, etc hilarious for some reason. no offense to anyone.

I suppose congrats in a way, I hope both are happy! :)

Though... for the sake of discussion, lets assume a hypothetical situation with the assumption that this was a one way decision (on the groom's part), and that they do find mutual love after marraige. Since the groom might be approaching death (Of course, we never know when we are going to die, but old age is old age regardless) it might put a heavy emotional toll on the wife to have to lose him right after.

We can never assume, but her face betrays her thoughts in that picture.

Each to their own, whatever floats her boat...

Surely a man of 105 won't be able to do much, if anything? He'll probably have to be looked after 24/7.

Sorry :embarrass *smiles innocently*

Doubtful if her family gave her up that way.
I was gonna say something sinister about that but I can't after reading Danah's post..:embarrass..yeah, I got an eeevil mind :X

I still wouldn't mind knowing what made the girl marry though :X
