The Bacilica of Immaculate Conception in Washington, the largest and holiest Catholic site in the United States:

Contrast that to the biggest and holiest place for Catholics in Britain, Westminster Cathedral in London:

Which is nicer? You decide.

a weird mosque, because it couldn't be finished in construction until now.

Your pictures of South East Asian mosques are much appreciated mate.

I'll post some more pictures of breath taking houses of worship later.

I like the way biblical verses have been put into english and carved into church walls,

our masjids could have the same it would be a good way of dawah

Thanks, I would love to see more of the mosques, synagogues and churches in Africa, Europe and Middle East. I'm sure their architecture must be awesome and distinct : )

last time, there were jewish community in Pulau Pinang in Malaysia as well. Not many people even M'sian themselves realize about this. We've heard that they had fled to S'pore and Australia. so, the only heritage that they have in Malaysia, is a pice of cemetary land in Zainal Abidin St and an abandoned synagogue. Zainal Abidin St was previously known as Yahudi St.
