Postrating sign in the Quran

Do you also have to prostrate when you read the interpretation and meaning of the ayah that has the protrating symbol beside it?

I remember in my Quran classes we all had to prostrate every time we read the last ayah of Surah Iqrah but I don't think it is compulsory to do so.:hmm:

Actually, as per the correct view that depends on evidence, as well as the link you yourself provided sister, that the prostration is not compulsory, but "mustahabb", which means earns a reward for doing, but not a sin if neglected.
