same here am listening to the best, SS of course, recitation of 2003 taraweeh where he is reciting yaseem so amazingly
mashallah SAS has hit the 100 mark, SS not that far behind

Guys to tell u guys the truth, me the imam that moves me the most is ahmed al ajmi and muhammad muhaisin. they are like fearing of allah from the way they recite. i like muhammed ayoub haram recitations because they give me an ancient feeling and also ali abdullah old recitations in the haram. for voice quality, i say none can match mishary al afasy especially surah al anfaal and surah huud.

shaykh mohammed al mohaisany has the best recitation than anyone and his duas are exceptionally WICKED mashallah. i hope my voice was like that. HIs ones the BEST.

i really like mohammed jibreel i rate him as the best but their others i like. I also like mishary and sa'aad al ghamadi.Most of my favourite recitors are posted up except mohammed Al Barrak. Mashallah he is only 14 years old and he is from Kuwait,why is he not put up here? i sense someone who is ageist here>>>>> loool i'm kidding. Everybody i highly recommend you to listen to him on www.islamway.com translate the page into english by clicking on the left hand side where it says other languages,click on Quran and search for him there DO NOT be distracted with other recitors lool. listen to surah Qiyammah if you can.Its really emotional.
 
all of them marshallah excellent recitors but my best recitors are sudais follwed by hudaify(excellent tagweed):peace:

I got to agree with u man. Shaikh muhammed al muhaisin recitation are emotional. I've noticed he cries alot when he is usually reciting Qur'an in salaat. Most Somali people I know love his qur'an recitation.

Hani ar-Refa'i may not be on the list because he's like a slow reciter who makes a frequent recitation. People don't recognize him as a great reciter. But Maasha allah he has a beautiful voice.

i dont know about u lot,but in my opinion SHEIKH SAUD BIN IBRAHIM ASH SHURAIM was the best recitor,is the best recitor n may ALLAH always keep him the best of the best imaams n recitors.AMEEN.
 
You can go to www.islamway.com and their will be a whole list of different shaykhs or you can go to www.aswataislam.net

No one is mensioning shaykh Abubakar Ashaatiry and Ibrahim Al-jibreen you guys should give it a try they recite very nice.

Why is it always Sudais?

Sheikh Shuraim, Sheikh Huzaifee, Shiekh Abu Bakr Ash-Shatri, sheikh Salaah, sheikh Jahaani then it would be Sudais.....

Sudais is a great recitoor, but he isn't the best

yes true mashallah all the imams and recitors are very gifted, but the opinion of the people on this forum decides the poll
