The Arabs have many ways to say hello or goodbye. I believe if you study arabic this is one of the first things you need to know. So I believe we should list all the various ways to say this in Fusha or dialect arabic.

Umm... what about this?

"Asalamu Alikum Wa Rehmatullahi Wa Barakatuh!"

...just trying my luck here! :D AAAHAHAHA

And what about

Allahafiz = may God be your Protector (a good bye)

:D :p

Fi Amanillah => good bye, (I leave you in the protection of Allah)

Khudahafiz= may God be your Protector (yeah I know, just changed the initial word imsad)

:p

jazakamullhu khair-can be used for goodbye? :-\
emm, not really. Actually, this means : May Allah reward you (give you the best reward). It's equivalent to "Thank you".
