Gems Reminder of Today

Salaam Alaykum

don't spend much time in shopping or watching TV in the blessed
month . Instead offer nafal/ extra salat and recite Quran as much
as possible.

Salaam Alaykum

If u have changed your life style positively for Ramadan ,
then show your gratitude to Allah and try to maintain it :)

MashaAllah great thread dear sister. May it be a source of immense reward for you and us. Ameen

Heard Yassir Fazaga saying, brothers should not laugh and joke about taking second wife in front of his wife for it can hurt her feelings. He called it being inconsiderate.

Aslaamu`Alaaykum

I thought id post an Ayah regarding greeting one!

"When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things. "[Al-Qur`aan:4-86]

Wa`Alaaykum Salaam

Salaam Alaykum

while making sujud / prostration , ask Allah to make our
hard tests easy for us .

^How do we say it in Arabic? Will "Allahumma yassir, ala thuassir" do?

Salaam Alaykum

Muslim brothers should offer salat in Jamaat/ congegration to get more rewards. Try to do it in holy Ramadan 5 times a day . InshaAllah u will be able to continue it after Ramadan.

Walkium Saalam

Excellent.

And for sisters to encourage their mahrams to get out and get to the masjid to pray thier salahs.

Salaam

Sorry sis ; don't know. I do it in my mother tongue . To my knowledge ,it's allowed to make dua in other languages. But InshaAllah i will try to find it out :)

Almighty Allah knows Best.

Salaam Alaykum

Only 3/4 days are left :( Blessed month is passing out so quikcly . So , from now on , think every night could be Shabe Qadir .

Try to awake whole night and offer extra salat and recite Quran and make dua for your oppressed Muslims brothers & sisters in Iraq , Afghanistaan , Palesting , Kashmir and all participants of the forum.

Salaam

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:

It is permissible to make du’aa’ in Arabic and in languages other than Arabic. Allaah knows the intention of the supplicant and what he wants, no matter what language he speaks, because He hears all the voices in all different languages, asking for all kinds of needs.

Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 22/488-489.

^ I know we can supplicate to Allah in any language but I thought that salah should be read only in Arabic. Am I wrong?

Salaam sis

you are right . We must recite verses from Quran in Salat i.e. not the translation but while making dua/ supplication , it's allowed to do in any language.

I have heard that you have to supplicate only in arabic during salaah. That too only in nafil.

Is it right to say:

When we supplicate in salah it SHOULD be in Arabic.

Salaam Alaykum

brothers , try to go to mosque for Itikaaf - at least for one night ; sisters may try to offer it at res.

Salaam

pay your and those who depend on you including your maid servants zakat ur Fitr before Eid salat.

Salaam Alaykum

share joy and happiness of Eid with poor relatives and needy people.

Salaam

if u missed any fasting in Ramadan , then do it now . If did not miss any , then do the 6 fasting of Shawal.

Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said “Whoever fasts the month of Ramadhan and then follows it by fasting six days during the month of Shawwal will be rewarded as if he had fasted the entire year.

[Muslim, at-Tirmithi, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawood and Ahmad by way of Jabir].
