Im now watching daa3ee as-samaa. And now the guest is Sheikh Sami Diwali, Masjid Nabawi muazzin.
But piety, I don't understand Arabic :sad:
 
Akhy, does it still start at 12 pm everyday? or have they changed the time?

Makkah has just entered 27th night. Shekh Sudais reciting from Sura Dukhaan in Maghrib. He started from the beginning. 7aa Meem wal kitaabil mubeen. Inna anzalnahu fy laylatin mubaarakatin inna kunna munthireen :cry:

Sheikh Hudhaifiyy leading 2nd 10 in Madeenah tonight. Did anyone hear the announcement before he started :? I didn't get what he said..

From past couple of days in Madinah, the Imam who led taraweeh first also led tahajjud, Shaykh Hussein and Shaykh Hudaify. I am always amazed about how Shaykh Hudaify leads most of the salawat and then taraweeh and tahajjud! Its a blessing from Allah mashaAllah. He has strength of a young man indeed. may Allah protect him.
 
^He mentioned something about the mus7af and something about Sura Faati7ah. I don't know tbh, I had Makkah taraweeh on a bit too loud so I didn't hear properly :X. I hope there's a recording. Ameen to your dua.

Oh okay, well did you find a recording yet? if he was talking about Mus7af, maybe Shaykh Hudaify was telling people that its better to listen to the Imam than holding the Quran. Wallu 3lam.

Can someone tell me when was the really huge crowd doing tawaf?? Was it at a specific time or just general?
 
Sheikh Talib led this Fajr! I still can't believe it. When was the last time he led Fajr?

No, I didn't.

It was in general. It was 27th night so the crowd was really huge.

He led Fajr? :omg: He led Fajr? :ooh: He led Fajr? Oh why did I go back to sleep :'(.

Last time he led was 28 July 2010.

Shaikh Hudhaify asked the Musallees (and musalliyaat) to not recite the Qur'an alongwith the Imam. He mentioned a Hadith too that prohibits the ma'moom to recite the Qur'an behind the Imam and that it hinders the Imam in his recitation. He said he is not declaring it Haram to look into the Qur'an, but that he is only asking them to not recite it when the Imam is reciting, except for Surah Al-Fatihah.

Shaikh Hudhaify and Salah Al-Budair's recitations were amazing these last couple of nights, as usual. Particularly Shaikh Hudhaify's Taraweeh last night, Surah Al-Jumu'ah to Surah At-Tahreem, and Shaikh Salah Al-Budair's Surah Qaaf and Surah Al-A'raf in the Tahajjud. :shade:

Today's taraweeh in Makkah and Madeenah is just too good. You don't know whether to listen to Makkah or Madeenah :phew

JazakAllah khair^, it happens in our masjid as well, people try to recite with the Imam, and the Imam ends up thinking he made a mistake or something. Anyway, what Juz are they at in Makkah and Madinah in taraweeh? Is Shaykh Shuraym still praying in the first saff??
