Madina Maghrib 27th July 2011 by Sheikh Abdul Mohsin Al-Qasim (HQ)

JazakAllah khair for the timings.

This Salat al-Maghrib by Sheikh al-Qasim is just beautiful mashaAllah. I have not seen him lead all 3 jahri salat for this long, its truly a blessing because when he is gone, it's for a really long time. Also, I love how they changed up the rota for Makkah Imams recently, Sheikh Juhany leading Maghrib and Isha, while Sheikh Khalid leading Fajr, even though it is not rare, it's not the usual either.

For those who don't already know, that Sheikh Yunus Patel of South Africa passed away in while making tawaaf on 13th July. Salat al-Janazah was led by Sheikh Shuraim, and here is the audio for it. The video is not from the Janazah since they didn't broadcast it in Saudi channels.

:sl:

Jazakallah Khair bro zAk

Bro Ahmed, I didn't know you all knew about Mawlana Yoonus Patel (ra7imahullah)

:w:

Yes I read about his death about it on a forum, may Allah help us, so many scholars are passing away, and the Prophecy that the knowledge will disappear by death of scholars is right in front of us. may Allah have mercy on him and make him among the Marafiqeen of Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم in Firdaus al-'Ala.

Do you how old he was?

Maghrib on 25th was very long by Sheikh Juhany... Just Loved the way he read "Rabbana innaka mannnn tudkhili annarafaqad akhzaytahu wama liththalimeenamin ansar" Pure Sheikh Ali Jaber, may Allah have mercy on him.. Many musalleen were weeping at those ayats.
