My cartoon era was way back in the 1940s. Sadly the cartoons of that era were very racist and looking back at them they no longer seem funny as they did when I was a kid. However in about the early 1950s some excellent cartoons started coming out and were quite entertaining.

this was the first Tweety bird cartoon with Sylvester the cat I believe it came out in the very late 1940s. There were earlier ones with each of them in separate cartoons, but this was the first with them together: [...]

Tweety bird is a dude! *cue gasps*

My list of cartoons/anime:
Akazukin Cha Cha
Fushigi Yuugi
Pokemon
Winnie the Pooh
Mummies Alive
Blue's Clues (My favourite)
Powerpuff Girls
Scooby Doo
Arthur

I'm sure there's more but I can't seem to think of any at the moment. So this list will suffice.

Arthur was one of the greatest kids shows ever, right along with Kratts Kreatures, Reading Rainbow, Seseme Street and Barney. :D Seseme Street and Barney are aimed towards a really young audience though, so I stopped watching them around the time I started elementary school... But I'll still watch Arthur if I see it on TV. :p

I know Sesame Street (to be honest though, I've never watched a full episode when I was younger) and Barney, but not the others! I also vaguely remember watching a few episodes of Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Arthur was a-meh-zing. I still remember the opening sequence and it would come to my mind at the most random moment.

Seriously, animes and mangas go sooo long. I wanna go for all but already stuck with two :P
Anyways, one of my favs, BLACK CAT!

Sailor Moon
Top Cat
Johnny Bravo
Samurai Jack
Dragon Ball Z Kai
Dexter's Labratory
Cow and Chicken
Fat Albert
The Jetsons
Courage the Cowardly Dog
