2ndly i am never been attached to movies. but i know how shameless they act on screen and all world see this, mean kissing hugging etc. so i am thinking is this also a reality or just a camera trick........ if its a reality than i am amazed. how ppl used to say i like katrina, amir khan etc..... they are such a shameless people and ppl used to praise them...astagfurallah.

^ Some people will become used to seeing that kind of stuff and they will no longer feel any sort of shame. They start thinking that all people watch movies why we can't see. It is as if they are saying the whole world is going to hell why can't we. We should tell them in a friendly way that these things are wrong. We should try our best and leave the matter to Allah.
I hope these might help you about wrestling.

Most wrestling is faked. No one can have chairs tables n whatnot bashed on their head, or be slammed head-first onto the floor and be fine after a bit. I don't get what's so interesting about watching a bunch of men in their underpants throwing each other around :hmm:

Wrestling is fake in that there is no real competition. It is choreographed beforehand, and the winner and loser are decided before the match even starts.

That being said, professional wrestling does require a lot of stamina and tolerance of pain. While many of the moves are made to look more painful than they really are, and there is a lot of acting going on, the strength and athletic ability needed to pull those moves off is amazing.

lol of course its all fake bro.

fake - shameless - islamless - imaanless -

the list goes on and on, yet it falls upon our eyes - ears and weakens our hearts

audhubillah
Actions that I mean is not acting, but actions in 'action movies' such as fight, shot, race on the street, etc.

ok if they are fake, even then ppl all over the world see this. and they feel so shame rather they are proud of it. its so stupid.
anyway jazakallah for ur replies.

Shame about what? If a movie is real then it's a documentary or the news. Films being mostly fiction is a given. People watch them for entertainment.

People watch them for entertainment.
they need to strength eman. hopefully then they find no joy or entertainment in it. people at time of Prophet PBUH times spent all their night in standing in front of ALLAH SWT in salat and Dhikar, and we dont find any interest in this. lack of eman.

Assalaamu Alaaykum

The reality ofcourse is that is is all fake, as there is no reward in the hereafter for watching some movie about fakeness or boxing as mentioned by many, what benefit is there about throwing someone about? These people follow their desires, they are those who believe they will remain in the dunya forever, it is sad ofcourse but that is reality. Indeed Allaah guides whom he wills and indeed we have the ability to do as much as we are able to, make Du'aa for those who are the misguided, because Hell and heaven is also reality.

Those actors on Tv have no shame ofcourse and its all for entertainment etc, it is reality because they do actually perform those filthy acts on screen and its fake because they're committing acts with those whom they are not related to in any way, for example actors who are married do shameless stuff with those who are nor their spouse etc etc.

Islamically ofcourse this is wrong, but for those people it proves they have no morals, no shame, and it is 'normal' for them, they dont look at it differently.

Subhaan'Allaah if only they knew of the real reality, may Allaah guide the lost to the path of light and happiness Ameen

peace

Professional wrestling is not real. It is all well-choreographed acting. Seriously, if they actually did what you thought you saw them do, they would have been killed. No question about it.

it isn't fake. they really kiss and hug in movies. they are a shameless people. some actors / actresses are married (to ppl other than the ones they kiss and hug on tv), yet there spouses don't seem to mind what they do on screen. talk about immoral!

The movies are not real. The saying, "Only in the movies", conveys the idea that movies are usually outrageous and filled with fantasy. Action movies in particular... Professional wrestling is "fake", although the wrestlers really are hitting each other pretty hard, it is all just an act for entertainment.

While the movies are not real, the stuff the actors must do to create the movie is very real. Two actors who might kiss on screen may be married to other people. It is one of those uncomfortable things that comes with the profession, and many relationships in Hollywood have been ruined by on-screen kissing or sex scenes. I would imagine that most actors do feel uncomfortable doing scenes like this if they are married or in a relationship with another person, but it is just their job, and if everyone involved keeps that in mind, much of the interpersonal problems are avoided.

I think, also, that a huge difference here lies in culture... Hollywood is one of the most liberal places in the US, and even here, many conservative people strongly disagree with some of the stuff Hollywood portrays to the world. There are a lot of people here who feel that those in Hollywood have loose morals as well, and it is reasonable to question whether or not Hollywood should be portraying some of the stuff it does. Keep in mind that they would not portray the stuff if it didn't appeal to people (or to some aspect of human nature), and that it is, in the end, just a movie...

Not that I am defending this or saying that being sexual with someone other than your spouse is okay, but hopefully I can explain that the attitude there is that it is not immoral if that's just part of your job. The fact that the actors have to portray a loving embrace (a hug, for example) doesn't mean they really have loving feelings towards that person or that they want to cheat on their spouse with that person, it is just part of the acting profession, just as people who dance with a parter must be very close while they are dancing. I would agree, however, that if the two actors started being sexual off-screen, then it would be very immoral and would hurt their respective spouses.

I mean, doctors touch people and do things that in any normal setting would be considered very inappropriate, but because it is there job, society gives it an exception. Granted, acting and being a doctor are very different, but I'm just trying to give another example of how when it is a part of the job, it's not really seen as bad.

Good thread, though! I've never really thought about this! Interesting...

^ but seventytwo, doesnt it hurt to see the one you love "acting" kisses and such? To me adultery is the physical intimacy between a man and a woman who are not partners. On screen, off screen, acting or not, it makes no difference.

It will burn me up and leave me in ashes to see that of my own sister/mother/cousin let alone my wife.

I would never ever want to see my sister kiss someone, we have private rooms for such things, why must it be displayed so freely onscreen

I can explain that the attitude there is that it is not immoral if that's just part of your job.

Why would anyone agree to their wife to be touched, hugged, kissed, gaining pleasure by any other man other than themselves? Immoral or not, it's sick. Don't these people have shame? Knowing that their wife is having it off with someone else, whether it's intentional or not (acting) it's still happened and it can cause to feelings for one another and then destruction to the couples REAL relationship.
