Do you know to whom we can pay our " Zakat " ? Please brothers/sisters participate

Assalamu alaikom,
As a Muslim living in the Western Word, I found it difficult to find people who are in need for the Zakat.
I have made search on line, so far, I donated for the following two sites.

www.muslimhands.org

http://beta.57357.com/category/clinical-programs/psychosocial-oncology/ (Chlidren Cancer Hospital in Egypt)

My brothers and sisters, if any one knows a trustful way to give the Zakat and Sadaka, please post it on line with your experience about it.

Asalaamu Alaikum,

I usually give my charity and Zakat to Ummah welfare trust as they are a very trustworthy and active Muslim charity and is the only one to have a 100% donation policy which means not a single penny goes towards admin costs but EVERY penny goes towards charity. They are currently running a big horn of Africa appeal:

Or you can give your Zakat to any of the many charity projects they are running.

So let us give us much as we can to our brothers and sisters in need. Would we not expect the same if we were in their position?

Charity for the pleasure of Allah INCREASES wealth for it does not decrease it. Ramadan is the month of giving and rewards are increased so let us give what we can and we will get more in return than we can EVER imagine!
