Subhanallah! Whenever I come here I see a variety of new things :coolious:. I don't know that food belongs to which region :heated:. Sometimes I wonder how people discovered and invented so many dishes :hiding:.

Today I have also had some fruits only :statisfie. I don't like always having something fried or heavy it makes you sleepy and then you feel difficult to pray Taraweeh :><:. I am not saying anyone that we should not eat tasty and good food just I am saying that sometimes only fruits are good .

Chicken is...a necessity :><:

No sis ,you should not eat chicken so much. Follow this.
I don't follow that.

I made chicken karahi for iftaar alhamdulillaah

@ alhamdulilaah

Salaam,

I want those sandwiches! How do you make them?

Oh, those sandwiches are simple, brown bread, for filling Labnah (arabic cheese yoghurt), and local olive pickle, however u can use cucumber.Thats it.

Asalamu alaikum,

Some days back, we had this iftar,

Mango Lassi with Mint

I must say that how refreshing it is, and Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'laa) has made this small green leaf so refreshing.

Kunafah

Now, if you want to impress someone with your cooking, just make a kunafah, everyone will think you are a good cook, but never tell the recipe of kunafah, otherwise, they will get to know, that there was no hard work for this simple sweet dish. The fact is it looks like a complicated sweet dish, however, it is real simple one.

For suhur, we had Chicken tikka pizza and tea.

3 hours ago we had our last ramadan ifthar of the year ... mixed feelings... Glad that we have completed ramadan and yet sad the same time.

In Indonesia, the government has just announced that Ied will fall on wednesday, but Muhammadiya (second largest muslim group in Indonesia, which my parents are belong) announced they have done the hilal and rukyat and that they've seen the new moon, so ied will be tomorrow for our family.

Indonesia has a long history of differences in determining the new month, just because we are a very large country with very long horizontally across the equator, so some people would be able to see new moon, while other people in different regions/altitude etc wouldnt be able to see the new moon.

Mango Lassi is real easy one, mangoes I used were frozen ones that was mango pulp, yoghurt will be more than mangoes, and for mint, take 1/4 of the bunch, dip in a small bowl of water for half an hour, then u can take this mint water, and leave the mint leaves. Now u can blend the mangoes, yoghurt and mint water. Other way is just use 1/4 bunch of mint leaves. u can try lime or lemon with mint also, it will have same refreshing flavour of mint. yoghurt was about 400 gms, mango pulp less than that, 1/2 of the amount of yoghurt.

And when u will drink it, u will surely say SubhanAllah, how great is Allah who has created these things just for us.
