Remember God is like a pressed flower in your Notebook.
It may not have any fragrance
but will remind you of HIS existence forever in your life!

Dunno why, but I didn't like this one.
- Elder PorphyriosObserve all the things made by man — houses, build*ings large or small, towns, vil*lages, peo*ples and their civ*i*liza*tions. Ask ques*tions to enrich your knowl*edge about each and every*thing; don’t be indif*fer*ent. This helps you med*i*tate more deeply on the won*ders of God. All things become oppor*tu*ni*ties for us to be joined more closely with every*thing and every*one. They become occa*sions for thanks*giv*ing and prayer to the Lord of All. Live in the midst of every*thing, nature and the uni*verse. Nature is the secret Gospel. but when one does not pos*sess inner grace, nature is of no ben*e*fit. Nature awak*ens us, but it can*not bring us into Paradise.
I think it's a point of view sister. We value flowers and we keep them in our notebooks because we want to preserve some of their beauty.. and want to look at them again and again. They may be pressed but they have not withered and vanished into thin air. It's a thing that I myself used to do. I kept petals and flowers in my notebooks and years later, those petals were still there. I would look at them in amazement and wonder.
So from that point of view... I think God is like a pressed flower. A flower that we want to preserve... and cherish for the rest of our lives. Its fragrance might fade away. But it exists within the pages.... as a reminder to us... that God is close by and always near.![]()
