Imam Ahmed reported a hadith in his book called zuhd, in which the Prophet PBUH relates the saying of Allah swt:

"Strange are you, O Son of Adam! I have created you and you worship other than Me. I have provided for you and you thank those besides Me. I show you love by giving you blessings and I do not need you. While you show me animosity through sins and you are to Me poor. My good is descending to you and you evil is rising to Me."

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Every son of Adam makes mistakes, and the best of those who make mistakes are those who repent.”

(Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2499, and by Ibn Maajah, who narrated this version – al-Sunan, ed. by ‘Abd al-Baqi, no. 4251)
 
Ibn ‘Abbaas reported that a man said, “O Messenger of Allaah, whatever Allaah and you will.”

He (saws) said, “Are you making me equal to Allaah? [Say instead:] What Allaah alone wills.”

(Reported by Ahmad, al-Musnad, 1/283).
