ahem..if you guys watched the series properly ..the guy said ..he was NOT SHIA...I am sunni but i totally get his message about the divide and we should be muslim before we are put into sects.

I finally got around to watching it—the first six episodes, at least—but lost interest after wards and had to stop. Personally, I felt as though it was going nowhere, simply reiterating certain information that I've already read from Dan Brown books and random sites on the inter webzz. I don't mean to sound offensive, but it was the first time I caught myself staring absent-mindedly at the screen because I was bored.

So I don't think I'm going to continue any further.

Its a wonderful series. It has made many Non Muslims accept Islam and misguided Muslims comes closer to Islam. Over all as the brother earlier said, is good. So don't take the negative part, accept the good part which is more and open your eyes, we are living in the end times (as series has shows with proof), the greatest of the 10 Major Signs warned by Prophet Muhammad (saw) to the Muslims, i.e. Dajjal The Anti Christ, is very close and coming our way. So with knowledge of Islam, which is must, we should also keep our eyes open studying and learning Major and Minor Signs of the End times so that we might see them as they are happening and not over look them, for Prophet (saw) warned us about those signs so that we save ourselves from them and not over look them.

The Only Shaikh that i know who has done best job in explaining the Signs of the End times, i.e. Major signs Gog and Magog, Imam Mahdi, Return of Jesus (a.s), Dajjal, Beast of the Earth, the 3 Earth sinking (one in East, one in West and 3rd in Arabia), and others is Sheikh Imran Hosein. His voice appears in the Series done by the same Producers called "Phase 3 Series" type on you tube.

Sheikh Imran website is this....

Please don't be ignorant. Arrivals is just a distraction :/
Another series, close to the arrivals: "the music industry exposed"
You can watch it on youtube.
Arrivals is basically explaining a conspiracy (truth and falsehood intertwined).
Why waste your time on conspiracies, when you can obtain truth from other litrature, and form your own opinion on the subject?

Only Allah knows best :)

Watch it with an open mind and you will see how brilliant the series is, Some parts are over exaggerated..yes, but overall its an eye opener.

Arrivals is a great series and its far from a distraction, rather a wake up call

That series is kinda scary tbh. I watched it when I was in middle school, maybe i should give it another watch, its been quite some time since then

i have watched the entire series - some of it was ok some inane some plain hilarious!
if you're going to watch it then do yourself a favor and watch the scholarly critique of it!
the whole series is based on movies it caters to teenage boys in my humble opinion ...just revs them up for something 'great' pushes the shiite agenda and unleashes confused kids who don't understand how they fit into the scheme of things what their role or creed is even!
pure entertainment that feigns purpose.
want to learn about eschatology - open a book!
here is one centuries strong!

Doesn't matter it comes from SHIA. On day of judgement Allah will not ask 'if you were shia or sunni or wahabi'.. Any one who believes in Allah and believes Prophet Mohammad ( saw) is LAST prophet of ALLAH, he is muslim and he is our brother. PERIOD.

The arrivals watched it, the intentions of the creators were right, but it makes you confused rather then waking up, yes its the doorstep but when you dont deal with the right subjects you can easily confuse someone.

Also the arrivals had alot of ''zina for the eyes'' scenes. Like 2 women kissing each other, in bikini's. It focusses on that iran is the hero of the middle east, while khominei got power with the help of france(one of the first countries where the knight templars settled after they got control of britain), that the iranian army are the black banners (fail, because iranian army dont even have flags at all). The arrivals had some truth in it, that the US is imposing wars in the middle east for the sake of israel is very right at all, and will keep doing do so in the future. However i dont see everything in the arrivals as a theory, with research done via books like protocols of the elders of the zion, how they control and keep in power you will be on the right end.

The revivals series made by halaqah1 in my eyes are much better. Better to the point and only involves halal, uses nasheeds as background, no rude scenes.

Not really NO!
furthermore, what is a wahabbi?
There's no such sect in Islam.. ibn Abdul wahab was a scholar who wrote on orthodoxy going back to the ways of the salaf. That's isn't a 'sect' it is a scholarship...

There has been a lot of debate on pros and cons of The Arrivals but if it is bringing people back to the deen(i am not saying it,check Sheikh Imran's website for this) then it surely worth the effort. The filmmakers didn't claim to be scholars at all.I don't now why some guys start considering Arrivals as a fatwa,so it has to be taken as its been shown

Ibn abdul wahhab, well let me say, that he and his men rebelled against the ottoman caliphate, trying to destroy it. With arms supplying from the british. And he and his movement rose from well- the najd region. With the city of riyadh in the center. Tell me what the prophet muhammed(SaW) thought about the najd region. Various hadeeth (Sahih) which brings terror in the heart of most people who cant get the truth about this, tells us about the horn of shaytaan rising from the najd region. Same with the shia sect being funded by jews. Crypto-jews....

ibn Abdul wahaab and Al saud are two separate stories -- you should do better research than that youtube video.
The Ottomans's were corrupt at the end but at least still an ummah, a scholar calling for return to orthodoxy isn't calling for the breakdown of the ummah rather calling for it to be strong.
Even Marmduke Pikthal who was a lord at the time tried to work against the dissolution of the ottomans .. you should have a more critical view of who was actually behind this breakdown of the ummah and what role England played in that and instating the colonial settler state of Israel.

Oh yes - he sure was, well it was from the wahhabi (extremist salafi) movement where the house of saud rose from.
I think you need to research in this matters, in whom you should trust and whom you should not. I can provide you with many articles and research done by muslims scholars in the past and these days, but its a shame really that this board removes everything which rebels against the tyrants of the house of saud.

There is no need to research anyway;

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet (s)said, “O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen.” The People said, “And also on our NAJD.” He said, “O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen.” The people said, “O Allah’s Apostle! And also on our NAJD.” I think the third time the Prophet (s) said, “There (in NAJD) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan.” Sahi Bukhari (Book #88, Hadith #214)

both the house of saud and their movements rose from najd, wreaking havoc in the lands of arabia. najd wasnt a better place infact a bad one.

Actually Al Saud could use some dose of Salaf.. It is the belief of many that they're the remnants of Banu Qaynuqa..
I am not pro anything but Saudis (and I have lived there for 4 years) practice Islam as close as possible to how it should be practiced compared to say Iran (which many of you are pro) here on this board in spite of the boards' policies.. be that as it may at least they don't stand and curse the prophet and sahba and beat themselves until they bleed & spread all sorts of falsehood!

Yes many saudis do love islam and i agree upon that, especially in madinah and mecca. But when you have scholars there labeling everything as shirk and bidah well...most of them are in the center of najd - riyadh. Also the wahhabis are responsible for destroying tombs of the sahaba(Ra) and even destroying the house of prophet muhammed(Saw).

One of the aspects of wahhabis are shaven heads, do you know that the muslims fought numerous battles between them?

I challenge you to show me where in the teachings of Muhammad Abdul Wahab he implicitly said go destroy the tombs and the house of the prophet or that I am starting a movement and follow my 'sect'. Stop perpetuating falsehood- You'll be responsible for everything you post and disseminate before God someday so think twice before saying that which isn't true!
Every nut that does something wrong, everyone else has to be guilty of it by proxy.. sob7an Allah!

Where do i imply that you started your own sect? Do not put words in my mouth. Yes, i'm against the horn of shaytaan risen from najd. Muhammed abdul wahhab is not someone who you think he was.

Here is some massive research done, and wallahi if you dont believe it, read the whole research takes some hours. If you post between now and a hour, to rebuttle it, then i know enough.

This sect which arose from Najd tried to destroy the true essence of Islam, that was their goal and everyone can see the effect its had on the Ummah today. They are a menace amongst us and try to extinguish the fire of love we have for our Nabi Peace Be Upon Him. Saud follow the ideology of Ibn Abdul Wahhab and look at the state theyre in, all theyve ever done is bend over backwards to appease the west whilst neglecting their duty to call for Khilafah at the very least. Anyone who cant see it is frankly blind.
