Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon! I missed al-Jumu'ah at Masjid al-Haraam... (like last week) just too busy at work!

I love listening to the shuyookh crying; it brings tears to my eyes. In this day and age of hardened, dunyaa-loving hearts we need these pious people to bring us back to reality, masha-Allah!

I remember Sudais doing the exact same thing 2004 taraweeh, it gives extra effect and was the practise of the prophet salalhu alyhi wassalam, if he said something hed repeat it mashAllah

ha! and I guess what I recorded that bit when I was in Madinah. :giggling:

When King Fahd passed away, they would have recitation of the Qur'an on and that bit came up and I think I only got 2 of them.. cos it sounded well nice... I'll post insha'Allah. :giggling:

I've heard him kinda breaking down before but not crying. In recent times, we've heard the likes of ash-Shaykh Saalih bin Humayd and ash-Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin al-Qaasim crying (or breaking down), and now ash-Shaykh Saalih bin Muhammad aala-Taalib! Masha-Allah.

Still waiting for LiveIslam to post the Masjid al-Haraam khutbah. They've put all the others on, including Masjid an-Nabawi's! I think it's due to appear here but don't know why they're not (or can't) put it on yet! Fa sabrun jameel...

nooo it wasn't the prayer.. it started off when he said 'mi'a wa sab3oon masaajid tu7arrik' .. 170 masaajid have been burnt...in Iraq..
He continued on to say that it can't be the work of Muslims it has to be the enemies of Islam ... He also said something like today we are here for prayers but people in Iraq can't even go and what worse can it be than someone stopping another from praying? ..

hey MST! Islam Channel showed the khutbah today (as always) but this time Imam Qasim was there giving the translation.

Oh.. and guess what.. I now have this khutbah on DVD. :coolious:
