The ol' times part 2​

Zuhr had finished, and I waited for my nana to finish his beatifully long sunnahs and nafil.

As he walked out he pointed to the door, I got up and walked behind him as he was talking to his friends at the mosque.

We walked through the busy Green street under the blazing British summer sun....My nana asked me if I had wanted to go home, but I was acting as though I had all the strength inside me( but really I was tired and extremely heated).

As we walked home, I was carrying most of the bags.....My nana kept on asking me to let go of the bag and tried to get some off me many times, he was left with the most lightest bag with tissues inside it.....I was still acting very strong and kept on walking and didn't allow him to take any bags.

As we walked home, I just slumped onto the couch...like a sack of potatoes...

My nana walked in and he laughed and said "thuy heran assleh nani?".

I was laughing, but just barely.....:giggling: :uhwhat

Yeah...ur gonna find it hard now....But I got to be awake as soon as I can to get on with my hifz.......Fajr is an excuse to get up and start memorisation.

Best time as well.

ji oi hasa khota, agor shafta niyot khorsi fajr bade utya ar gumaytamna! Te dui din baka uti fortam farsi ar hita din khali gum lagi zay !! dua khoryo amar khali gum lagto na inshaAllah.

Ur not fagol!

But mazeed bhai (i hope u don't mind me callin u that), If u want to get up early, follow the Sunah of our Prophet (SAW), u shud try to sleep after Zuhr Salaah and nap for about an hour or maybe 2, That way u can be refreshed as the time u woke up....That can be another time to do hifz cos the mind is fresh, but rasulallah (SAW) has ordered not to sleep after Fajr, after asr and after Maghrib.

Also, by sleeping at Zuhr time, ur mind needs less sleep, so then u can wake up early as well as stand for Qiyaam ul layl.
