"chi" bhag ta shuddo bhashay use kora hoy, like kheychi, ghumiyechi, bolchi etc.

And it is also used when, kharap kichu dekhle chi chi bole.

It sounds funny to you cause you don't speak it, just like syhleti accent sounds funny to us dhakai speakers.
