Lol! I was thinking a juggernaut more like! But seriously, I will do something about it inshaAllah. I'm sure others are just as annoyed as me.

Noisy neighbour gets one-year sentence
April 21, 2006 - 3:14PM

A Japanese woman has been sentenced to a year in prison for causing a neighbour to suffer dizziness by playing loud music between November 2002 and April 2005.

Miyoko Kawahara, 59, charged with inflicting injury on her female neighbour, played music at a loud volume in her house in Heguri in Nara Prefecture during the period, causing the neighbour to suffer dizziness that required a one-month observation, according to the Nara District Court ruling.

In handing down the ruling, Presiding Judge Tetsuya Okuda said: "The act was tenacious and insidious, and caused great trouble to the neighbour."

Defence attorneys had argued Kawahara is innocent, saying "playing music cannot be said to be an act of assault".

Prosecutors had demanded three years in prison.

Heigou you NEVER let me Down ;D ;D Man you ARE THE HUMAN GOOGLE i swear ;D

Nah it started during maghrib and continued intermittently.

Sis i honestly dont mean to sound rude but my opinion is that you should just ignore it,

I mean there is a hadith in which the Prophet SAW came home after eid prayers and found 2 girls singing and Aisha RA was listening to them. Abu Bakr RA came in and said how dare you sing in front of the Prophet SAW and our Prophet SAW said it was ok as its eid and this is how they are expressing thier happiness.

I understand that you were reading namaz but you can go to another room and try to read there.

Muslims know Music is haram yet some still listen and play such instruments and they tend to be ignorant to this (inc me) its best to ignore this,

My opinion hope no offence is caused.

Basically im saying and i knows its wrong that i do listen to music. You see i can say i dont but why lie yes i should be ashmed and i am being ignorant to the laws and commands of Allah SWT.

May Allah SWT guide me and others to the right path. Aameen

Yes but nt in accordance with the Islamic teachings an Muslim marrige should be commenced with blessings ....

Yes that was 2 girls who were singing to welcome the prophets (pbuh) arrival.
There's no comparison between that hadith and muslims beating bhangra tunes bang in the middle of salah time. You're not being rude but I'm not going to ignore it, because it is not something that affects me personally but my neighbourhood too. The one's responsible are also doing wrong, so I have to make them aware of that.

I don't live in a mansion you know! :giggling: :rollseyes
It wouldnt have mattered where I was in my house, the noise could be heard in the next street.

I think you should find patience, and be happy for someone is celebrating a beginning in their life....put cotton in your ears..
Of course I was patient! I wanted to go and snatch the drum of them, but I controlled myself. :P
And I don't grudge any celebrating their new life, but why should I and others have to suffer to their noise? It may be important for them but my prayers and others peace is more important to me.

*watch this space, cuz I am not going to let this drop*
