A'salaam alaykum w r w b , May peace and blessing of almighty allah swt be on all of us.

I am really happy to see that islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet earth thanks to the almighty allah. The growth rate is approx 235%.

Annually around 20,000 people get reverted to islam every year in US. Alhamduillah again thanks to almighty allah.

Today as we all know that people are relating islam and terrorism still people are getting attracted towards islam which is religion of peace.

So we all should pray to almighty allah that may allah show all the mankind the right path.

Do remember me in your prayers

Well obviously that 235 percent, which is an interesting Islamic internet meme, is meaningless unless you put a period on it - 235% a year? A month? A week? The usual figure is since 1950 or so which is obviously wrong. Which still does not make it the fastest growing religion in the world. Falun Gong had a membership of about one in 1979 and now it claims about 100 million.

Which is (a) a trivial number and (b) about four fifths of converts in the US, revert again within a few years and (c) no oen knows how fast Islam is bleeding members but only about 20,000 American Muslims go on hajj each year out of some 7 million suggesting that the majority of American Muslims are nominal Muslims. If that.

And yet the Malaysian government, for instance, admits hundreds of thousands of "Muslim" Malays wish to change their religious registration.
