I think 7th April 2006 refers to the date the video was added to Google.

I just listened to the salaah and it's definitely not this year's. There are just too many differences, from his al-faatiHah to his salaam. It doesn't even sound like last year's. My guess is it's somewhere in the region of 2004. wAllaahu a'lam.

yeah your right bro , sheilkh talib lead fajar on 7th April,
check the video its Rabia 1 , why is sheikh shurim standing close to kaba , in rabia 1 you wont find haram so crowded even on fridays , in video people are standing even out side the haram ,as far as my observation is imam stands close to Kabaa in months like shaaaban , Ramdan or time of haj when Haram is crowded( correct me if i m wrong).

Today Sheikh shuraim was not standing close to Kaba , surely there must be more people than 7th of april.

There's a big difference between their voices. I recognised the noble shaykh's voice straight away without looking at him!

The connection's not good at all today. I think it's sounding better in this second khuTbah.

Masha-Allah, he's very emotional today! We've missed you, o great shaykh!

and that fajr video that is apparetnly 7th april, i think it is way before that becasue his tune is different as is his daleen which is the old style, he has a new style now

what is there not to like? subhanallah
sheikh qasim is giving translation for the benefit of those who does not understand arabic, it is a benefit
good and clear quality of the khutbah mashallah

I know, but a live running translation for those who do understand arabic is a nuisance. You know what i think? i think islam channel should record it and then get a translation prepared and play it later in the day. That way sheikh qasim won't keep interrupting the khateeb.

as sheikh qasim has expalined just before the show, the schedulge is tight and he has to lead jummah in croydon, if the khutbah was to be run in arabic first and then the translation, sheikh qasim wont be able to make it to lead jummah in croydon as he has to finish and go by 12:15
the purpose of the show is to give english translation, if you want to watch and listen to the khutbah in arabic then try to watch the live coverage
