Why are some Muslims so good and other Muslims go about killing? I believe in only the living father of all, one god, I don't believe he is a multiple being, I also believe he is perfect in all things. I just don't understand why some people tell me Muslims are good, but there are people claiming Islam, and the kill people horribly. Blessings be upon you, please understand why I ask this.
 
Thats a good question - well, basicly. I could also ask, why some people don´t obey the will of the God and some do? Why some let Satan whispers to their minds and some are stronger? Why some people follow the laws and some broke them? Why some people have understood the meaning of the humanity and some don´t? Can you answer this to me? It´s just same, from which background people come from, as you hopely know, or what religion they follow - or say they follow.
 
I'm asking this because I was told Islam believes in the Ten Commandments, which means Muslims know they are not to harm another unless their life is threatened, or the lives of people they love, but killing just because a person believes in another reiligon thats evil. But are these evil doers Muslim or false prophets?

See to me I believe that god is judge, and we should do his will, so I don't know why people decide to let satan make them a enemy, but I do not care what color,belief, or race a person is, they are gods special beings, that only he can judge, so I do as god has commanded me to love all my neighbors, that means all people. Even those fallen into league with our enemy.

Valid question,
Not all non-voilence is good and not all voilence is bad and vice versa.

One might wonder why some people murder or rob for no reason.
And another might wonder why some people punish or imprison them.
I mean God is the ultimate judge who will look into all motives and inner reasonings on the day when the true sifting takes place,
But He has made humans the vicegerent on earth to obey Him and judge by what He has revealed to the best of their ability despite our imperfections and limitations.
How would it seem if someone asked you why humans take the Law into their own hands?
Or why there are electric chairs and beheadings and hangings?

Islam is perfect. The people aren't. Jesus said to turn the other cheek and to forgive. How easy is it? Can every Christian follow the law exactly? The answer is 'No'. Likewise in islam. Unfortunately it happens everywhere, people will tend to 'bend' the laws to suit themselves. That is what is happening. Nothing to do with the decree of Allah. :peace:

Mass murderers and tyrant kings have been present throughout history.

Are they reflective of religion or others?

At the same time it depends on which side of the line you stand.

Take a look at Isreal and Palestine.

Its a complex question and not entirely black and white..

But you are here for a moment in time and god makes of us what he wills..

By your perception and inspiration, ideals and...religion.. For a while anyway.
 
So i guess you have your response.

Judge Islam by the scriptures i.e. the Quran and the hadith (words and actions of prophet Muhammad PBUH/SAW) and don't judge Islam by the actions of Muslims.

Do you need any further clarification?
 
I do not judge, I just don't understand anyone, ending the life of one of gods creatures for belief, god is perfect, he is the final judge and his law says do not kill, so that is why I asked, but yes you are right there is good and bad in all things, for it is written that satan will make himself like a being of light, and he will deceive many, so there are good Muslims, Christians, atheists, so I will not judge but do what our creator has commanded me, to love him before all others and not worship anyone but him. And know that my brothers and sisters will do the same, no matter what thier title is. Love to you and blessings of god be upon you.

Theres Muslims who follow Islam, and theres others who don't.

just like theres Descent Non-Muslims and theres a heap load of indecent Non-Muslims who commit various crimes, ranging from Pedophilia to Sodomy, to Adultery, Incest/Rape to Murder/Genocide.

Islam is how the Quran and the Sunnah (the sayings and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad :saws: ) tell us to live,

people have the choice to obey or disobey Allah ta'ala/God All mighty and face the consequences.
