Re: Cars!!!

Salaam.

I guess BHP stands for, not means brake horse power. So what is it, why exactly is it good?

Re: Cars!!!

lol bhp= brake horse power its like a power measurement, the more you have the quiker n faster you'll go theoretically lol\:w:

Now that's where you're wrong Harun mate, BHP doesn't really mean a thing when it comes to the world of racing.

Re: Cars!!!

omg wow thats like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much is it going to cost him?
im not sure he has other things on his mind so his car is not his main priority, all i know is that he has paid a bit, n d rest 2 follow lol i'll give you my review if n when he gets it lol

i think it does m8, along with torque n obviously power 2 wight ratio...grip bla bla oh and the chassi set up, handlng also plays a major part
:w:

Re: Cars!!!

Torque, well done. Now that you mention it, BHP is not really important. Who cares if your Skyline has 700 or so BHP, that doesn't really mean it's super quick.

oh now your correcting me lol:) typical...well like hp(horsepower) is like normally the torque times the rev i.e rpm (correct me if im wrong) so you can rev the crap out the car and get a really impressive horsepower but brake horsepower is actually measured by not revving the car but bhp means the tested horse power at just the engine flywheel. i.e. just net engine output.there are is other horse power types (i.e. shp shaft horse power= the horse power tested at after the shaft output and so on......

actually with the 4x4 system on that, i presume it would be quick..camon! standard i think it takes approx 5 seconds 2 hit 60 mile per hour so erm i agree grip will play a major part with all that power n torque but still will it not be quick enough for u?

Re: Cars!!!

[BANANA]i need Aalimah and islamgyal around here u boys dnt know wat u on bout[/BANANA]

Re: Cars!!!

Harun, stop it. You're making me sick. Who wants 700 BHP? It's silly, crazy, and being too greedy.

You see, imagine some big black guy with huge muscles about to fight say our friend Jet Li, who do you think will win?

Re: Cars!!!

bhp= brake horsepower. I call it fuzzy horsepower. Like Sears will call a skill type saw 2.5 bhp. A1 HP electric motor draws 10 amp.
That saw would put out the lights in your shop if it was a real 2.5 hp motor. The data for HP is Torque in foot lbs. X RPM devide by 5252.
Now let us see what the experts have to say.

Mo man, you're making me dizzy. Stop with all the techy bits, we just like drooling at cars that look sexy and one day dream to own.

I got to go, time to hit the sketchbooks again.
