From what I understand is that we should not hate people personally for their beliefs. Rather we should see everyone as prisoners of their evil inclinations. Be it atheism, drugs, prostitution, etc.
The wise thing (afaik) is to try to bring them out by not aiding shaytaan in fueling their (thing). I.e. Surely it is shaytaan that has decieved mankind into kufr/disbelief.
I, myself, am by no means a good Muslim, I've had my misconceptions (and still have some).
But know this:
We do not hate you personally, we hate the fact that you do not believe in Islam, and we hate the disbelief that is preventing you from salvation.
I have a question tho. Am I right in not judging people by their religion, but by their heart.
It is our job to eradicate negativity and evil, by responding with good character and with good in general. Evil is the disease, the cure is always the good.
And just because a person is drowned in evil (drugs, haram relationships, disbelief) doesn't make the person himself evil. he has, rather, drowned or been "caught" by the evil.
Surely there are evil people in the world, and to that we respond with justice.
Idk, this is me brainstorming. Lol.
Any scholar can add and clarify whatever wrong I may have said.........
And Allah :swt: knows best.
