Ok good.

Yes a bread machine saves on electricity, compared to an oven.

But while you dont have a bread machine, try out some bread doughs and use the oven. You can use a loaf pan. Have you ever make bread dough before?

And yes a bread machine is a good idea but you need to follow instructions given with it.

Never had a bread machine, altho I have baked bread in the oven.

It was a bit lumpy and bumpy here and there but it was otherwise a decent loaf of bread, lol.

But anything like rotis and naans or flatbreads we make at home - homemade things really are nice, it's just we don't make the time to do it more often.

People in my place definitely disagree with you. In my place, if people eat bread but haven't eat rice they always feel they haven't eat.

Where my family come from, anything less than a meaty stew and several flatbreads is not considered a meal.

Things like bread, pasta, vegetables, no matter how big the portion, only classify as 'snacks'.

Where my family come from, anything less than a meaty stew and several flatbreads is not considered a meal.

Things like bread, pasta, vegetables, no matter how big the portion, only classify as 'snacks'.

In my place people consider bread as cake, except toast that considered as variation of breakfast.

By the way, in the beginning when KFC entered Indonesia, they did not provide rice, but bread in small pieces that almost as hard as French toast. But not so long this bread replaced by rice. Yeah, Indonesian people felt odd if must eat fried chicken with bread.

يا أخت, لا تنسبي نفسك إلى فرقة الشيعة والتشيع. أظن أنك لا تعلمي ما هي عقائد الشيعة, مثل إعتقادهم بتحريف القرآن الكريم, وتكفير الصحابة, وتكفير المسلمين من أهل السنة والجماعة, والمتعة, والتقية, وإعتقادهم أن أئمتهم الإثنا عشرة أفضل من الأنبياء, واعتقاد بعض الروافض أن أئمتهم هم الذين خلقوا هذا الكون, يعني الدنيا, والسماوات السبع, والإنس والجن وحتى الملائكة المقربين

تعرفي هذه الإعتقادات؟ هي موجودة في كتب الشيعة المعتبرة عندهم. فما رأيك في مثل هذه العقائد؟ توافقي أم لا؟ ما رأيك في الصحابة رضوان الله تعالى عليهم؟ ما رأيك في القرآن الكريم؟ هل وقع فيه تحريف كما صرّح بذلك أئمة الشيعة مثل نوري التبرسي في كتابه: فصل الخطاب في تحريف كتاب رب الأرباب؟

I still wonder about correlation between bread (not foods in general) and Islam. Isn't bread is just one kind of foods?. How about other foods like rice or noodle?.


(Addition) I mean, if talk about foods in Islam, why focus only on bread?.
