Gems Beautiful Quotes, Proverbs, Sayings

I'm sorry; what is the blanket of Fajr?

Thank you

peace

Sorry for late reply.

I believe it is referring to young ppl enjoying sleep with their blankets and finds it a struggle to wake up for even fajr (dawn-presunset prayer). While their parents/grandparents are able to wake up earlier hours of night for the great night prayers.

The quote is very true. In my case anyway. May Allah swt guide us all, Ameen.

Thank you for the response. I'm thinking the correct question for me to have asked would have been "What is fajr?", but you've managed to answer that too. Thank you. Is fajr considered more pleasing to GOD than other prayer or supplication? Are there generally three prayers throughout the day for the Islamic? This may not be the proper place for such questions. I was just wondering. Thank you again.

May our GOD guide us all.

Oh never apologise for asking questions. The whole purpose of this forum is to increase religious/spiritual knowledge for all muslims/non-muslims so we can learn the truth and wisdom to become closer to Allah (God) and worship Allah in the best way we can.

In Islam, there are 5 pillars - Faith (Declaration that God is One and none worthy of worship but God and Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him is the final messenger of God), Prayer (5 daily prayers), Charity (Zakat - Compulsory), Fasting (Month of Ramadan), Hajj (pilgrimage for those who can afford).

5 daily prayers are spread throughout the day starting with Fajr prayer before sunrise then at around lunch-afternoon time (Zuhr) then in later afternoon (Asr), then the Sunset prayer (Maghrib) and night time prayer (Isha). They are the fard (obligatory) prayers for muslims. In response to your question on if fajr is considered more pleasing to Allah than others...I honesty do not know the answer and I am certainly not a scholar in any way or form. It's generally considered to be most difficult prayer out of 5 daily prayers as you have to wake up at early hours of morning to pray it on time. For example, at this time of year, it starts at around 4:30am and sunrise is around 6:30am in UK so one must pray between those times. If we say the higher the reward for more difficult the task/deed/work/struggle, then yes praying fajr daily is highly rewarding/honorable/pleasing act of worship.

Here's a good website I found which explains prayer in Islam to New muslims in beautiful way with verses from Quran and hadith (sayings of Prophet peace and blessings be upon him):

Hope it helps and you enjoy the read!

Please do feel free to ask any more questions on Islam on the forum!
We would love to help and explain things! :)

Life is a journey with Allah (God), from Allah and To Allah. Don't ever let anyone get in the way/middle, whether saints or sinners, spouse or parents, friends or foes. Your whole world will change but don't let go of that fondamental connection. Everything will change but hold on to beauty, hold on to good, hold on to righteousness; you can only truly do this by always holding on to Allah and our Rasul SAW the Perfect Human example in every way/situation and there are lessons in & from all Allah's Prophets, Peace and blessings be upon them all.

Focus on yourself journey, Help and inspire others along the way in every little way you can. People will forgive and understand, will support and learn/be inspired. So always Remember Allah and don't change for anyone. Hold on to all those who remind you of Allah & to goodness/righteousness.

~Sakina141

So Lets Remind each other of Allah whenever we can with the Countless Infinate blessings that surrounds us with every single heartbeat.
"And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allah's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad SAW)." Quran 14:34

Lets Remember Allah, Lets be Just/righteous and Lets be Thankful/Grateful InshaAllah. May Allah swt guide us all closer & closer to Him - closer to Truth and true justice & goodness, Ameen.
