9. You Get Married

This is mainly for new reverts to Islam who may have become Muslim for the sake of marrying someone OR who are now being pressured to get married to “preserve their deen.”

To simply put it, if you have just turned back to Allah (swt) (and by just, I mean within the last few years of your life) then let marriage happen, do not try and force it. In the mean time, you have just started the best relationship of all: the one with your Lord. Allow it to come into fruition. Bask in its glory. Truly love and revere those intimate moments you enjoy when you praise, thank, and pray to your Lord.

We talk about completing “half our deen” without realizing that we are not complete. Marry your deen, and the rest will fall into place, bi’ithnillah (by the will of Allah).
 
I'll admit, I fall into some of these traps when I pray better or watch more lectures. It just takes a lot of self control.
 
I kindly reject this advice as not useful because it goes into topics that hardly matter but accept your kindess and where you are coming from

I didn't disagree with it entirely because you have some good points but there is some parts that I did.

3. You Rebel Against Society

To be honest with you as someone who has grown up and lives almost 25yrs in the western world it's a rough world out there mann when it comes to safeguarding iman. Anyone who trusts that society or way of life will lose himself guaranteed. It's a society that completely is not suited for Islam and where sins have been made much much more easier then anywhere else in the world.

The world as you see is a very very dark place currently and this is just the reality where deception is outspread and at it's peak. Anyone not looking around his shoulders within his society and not learn the know how to avoid them will be knocked right back into that filth.

Another thing to consider is the massive out put of media propaganda and brain-washing taking place.

Of society: We can't live without society is a fact. It's also not denied of society being inflicted with harmful evils and incondusive aura, nevertheless, isolating from society is also not helpful. Arab society was the worst kind of society ever existed on this planet, notwithstanding prophet s.a.w didnot isolate himself from the people and keep on inviting them to truth. So in the light of seerah, we're guided to sticking to the right path as well as inviting others to the true Islamic teachings. This responsibility, no doubt, is a bit hard though but is feasible. This thorny way treading whereupon is difficult, indeed, is full of trials. As a result people will either follow or leave us but our job is done for the sake of Allah swt.

But real issue is that when we become practicing Muslim we begin to hate the people if they're not practicing Muslims and condemn the society. It proves of us not being truthful Muslims. A sincere one cries for their guidance in tahajjud, love them for the sake of Allah swt and invite them to right path sincerely and affectionately but invariably we're lacking in these traits.

Of marriage: until a man is mentally prepared to take the responsibility of the family, should not marry, is my personal opinion, else fasting has been prescribed by shariah as the solution to subdue carnal desires.

As'salamu Alaik'um

1. That's pretty vague.

2. If your family isn't practising, you're not supposed to obey anything they say that's haram. So yes, you can 'rebel' against them.

3. Same as above. If the society necessitates that you must do haram things, then move to another.

4. If there is clear-cut evidence that something is haram/halal, why wouldn't you declare it as such?

5. Nothing wrong with being an introvert, if anything, in this day and age it's even better for various reasons.

6. Being a practising Muslim should be one's primary identity, the others are almost completely irrelevant.

I agree with all the others.
