I am a young muslim girl thats extremely confused right now. This is
A question about shirk. I usually repeat actions in order to prevent
Something bad from happening. I also happen to ask for reassurance
A lot from people i know just to make sure nothing bad will happen.
I know this is a symptom of ocd, but i do not think i have it.when i do
These actions, sometimes im really scared that if i dont repeat something,
Something bad will actually happen. Other times, i know its stupid but
I still do it.

Whatever it is, is this shirk? And if it is, how can i stop doing this? Ive
Been doing this so much its become a habit everyday. Please help!

Assalamu Alaikum,

It's not shirk but these are symptoms of waswas and OCD.
There's no reason for you to have thoughts of doom, have more trust in Allah that things will be fine inshallah and have some trust in yourself as well.
OCD worsens overtime and its more psychological development so you can fix it before it gets worse.

Assalamu alaikum,

Thats a relief! Just wanted to say Thank you for your reply.
