Calling your father in law , Dad

Is it okay for someone to call their father in law dad, when the real father is not comfortable with it?

If your father is not comfortable with you calling your father in law as dad then it is better to avoid it but use another similar word for him to maintain the respect and status that he deserves.

Call him Papa, which is common in Europe, or just call him by his first name. But dicuss it with your father.
