That was very brave. Many people are cyberbullies without even realising it. I think I can attest to being cyberbullied once - but it wasn't so serious that I wanted to commit suicide or anything like that.

Cyberbullying....something quite prevalent over the internet, quite scary too, Now that I think of it, I was cyberbullied once but I didn't make a very big deal out of it and just blocked that person out.
It's not always the people with low self esteem who do it, It can be a your regular sweet next door neighbour! I have known people who are very nice and sweet and all (seemingly)....but they have this weird fetish and that is they delight in hurting someones feelings. They feel satisfied when another person is being emotionally hurt.

But Thanks for the aricle F.Y. All of us need to be more cautious, but sometimes thats a difficult thing to do as people tend to let down their guard too easily especially in a friendly atmosphere in a forum like this........

Have you been wondering where I've been? I went to St Just in Cornwall, and I've been looking forward to talking to you again all week.

I don't have a mobile (and I don't want one), but a payphone might work. My friend at school says I shouldn't tell my parents until I've seen my RE teacher first. Things have been going crazy at school, everyone is trying to find out what's happening, and people are calling me paranoid all the time.

St Just is in Penwith, right near Land's End. It's built on top of a long-extinct granite pluton, or batholith, which is under most of Cornwall, and contains around 68,000 cubic kilometres of granite.

The most annoying thing there is how they've turned Land's End into a theme park, and cordoned off the Land's End sign so you have to pay to take a photo by it.

No, I didn't catch anything except sunburn.

This is the sort of hadith I mean by the hadith that contradict science. There are others too, like the one that says that the sun travels under the Earth through a hole.

I don't think these hadeeth contradict science; I have not heard the one about the sun travelling under the earth through a hole (perhaps you mean the one where it prostrates to Allaah), but it is possible to believe in all such things if one believes in Allaah. Allaah is capable of creating the entire universe, so why then should we question certain things that science might never prove?

If the 'days' of Creation are actually periods of time, as all of the scientific evidence and lots of scholars say, why does this one talk about a Friday?

I don't really see the problem here - if the days are like our days, then Friday being mentioned shows the chronological order of events among other things, no?

Regarding that link you posted, I don't think it is right to reject a hadeeth just because one does not understand it or finds it 'strange'. Delving into science excessively and questioning the 'how' and 'why' is not really a good idea, as I have mentioned before. We simply accept what Allaah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) teach us and we acknowledge that Allaah is Able to do all things.

Nope, no fishing. We had quite a good time, especially the pasties! The geology of the area is also very interesting. It was once at the centre of a mountain range higher than the Himalayas.

Sorry bro, going back to school is going to be much more than an annoyance. As I said, people are snooping round all over the place, and I can hardly talk in private with another Muslim. People are making crazy guesses about what's happening (usually surrounding sexuality), and then spreading them around everywhere like rumors. I'm trying to tell them that they're completely wrong, but they don't listen.

If they have a short attention span, they may have forgotten already! Just get them talking about Big Brother or something! That'll distract them :giggling:

No, they won't just ignore it. They know something strange happened on Thursday morning, and they won't stop until they find out.

Well, two of my friends noticed something was odd when I was keeping away from them because they offended me by saying that nuking Makkah would be good. Everyone else has found out that something's going on when I asked to talk in private to my Muslim friend, and that I keep worring about people overhearing our conversations.
