i was reading something by another sister and though it was v good. please pass this on to anyone you may know as it is something very common.


It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Allaah has cursed the women who do tattoos and those who ask for tattoos to be done, those who ask for their eyebrows to be plucked, and the women ask for their teeth to be filed for the purpose of beautification, changing the creation of Allaah.” A woman from the tribe of Bani Asad whose name was Umm Ya’qoob heard of that and she came and said, “I have heard that you have cursed So and so and So and so.” He said, “Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed and who are mentioned in the Book of Allaah?’ She said, “I have read what is between the two covers [of the Qur’aan], and I did not find anything in it like what you have said.” He said, “If you have read it, have you not read that Allaah says,

‘And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)’

[al-Hashr 59:7]?”

She said, “Of course.” He said, “He forbade that.” She said, “I think your wife does it.” He said, “Go and look.” So she went and looked and she did not see what she was looking for. He said, “If she had been like that, I would not have stayed with her (divorce).”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4604; Muslim, 2125


If you know anyone who does any of that, encourage them to stop and to repent May Allah forgive the people who are lead astray by what some consider "beautiful" and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the prophet Muhammed and his family! ameen

May Allah reward you for posting this up sis. I hope all the sisters benefit from this, and the brothers tell their wives, daughters, sisters and all their female relatives.
This is one of the things that alot of Muslims do not take seriously.

Most women dont take it seriously, because I guess they're like "i'm just removing a few hairs for goodness sakes" little do they realize that those few plucks land them into such great sin.

Alhamdulillah none of my aunts/cousins/sisters/ or any of my muslim female relatives do this :)

Yes right, why they dont take it seriously Im wondering? :rollseyes Cause the hadith is clear that its harom. Its just like those egnorant say "a little bit sin is ok, it wont bring a lump on my skin" :hiding: . Means if they do sins then people will not able to see it, so thats why they still doing the same sins. And theres worse yaa ukhtee, they bald their eyebrows masha Allah and made tattoo on it, :offended: Im just disgusting to see that kinda girls naudhubillah. Alhamdulillah I have found someone thats far far away from that kinda stupid things, and Im going to marry her insha Allah. Please pray for me bros and sis. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeee ;D
 
its ok to pluck the middle (big unibrow) if it gives the woman a manly beastly look, so specify, i think this goes for chin hairs also

It is permissible to remove any hair from the face apart from the hair of the eyebrows.

And it also says (5/197): “What is the Islamic ruling on removing hair that grows between the eyebrows? The Committee replied: It is permissible to pluck it, because it is not part of the eyebrows.”
