However, if you were to ask someone with good football knowledge about who the top England players are, then players like Gerrard, Rooney and Terry would get mentioned before Beckham. Has Beckham recently won anything? So what makes you think he's so good? He's good at free-kicks? The one he scored recently was the first one he scored in 2 years. He's good looking, is that it? Does that make him the best footballer?

I never said he was crap, I just don't think he's as good as some of you are making him out to be. And just because he was captain doesn't make him better than anyone else. Sven, the England manager, was getting paid £4 million a year, that's more than any other manager. Does that make him the best manager?
