Dunno, may be Shaikh Thubaity is not as well known as other imams of Makkah.

I love madinah's all imams' recitations.

:w:
i download shaikh Thubaity's recitaion regularly maybe it is because of SHaikh Shuraim only yesterday nobody downloaded it

Nice question Ruenz. It's a tough one and I am trying not to be biased. The thing is, hearing the imams live is something totally different. I have not heard Sheikh Shuraim recite it or for that matter anything live :'( . And they sound MUCH MUCH better live.

Sheikh Sudais was very emotional..
Sheikh Salih al Talib was beautiful..
Sheikh Shuraim was beautiful too, masha'Allah.

aaah it's hard! :(

*thinking not biased*

Well, I prefer Sheikh Salih al Talib first.. then Sheikh Shuraim. Sheikh Sudais is just classic which is awesome masha'Allah.

Okay, that's my decision...

I don't know about the broadcast of Madinah Fajar on any tv channel, but i listen to it on saudi radio 2 channel. The link i gave you works well for me. Usually madinah fajr is about 10 mins earlier than Makkah one.
I hope this helps
Assalamu 'alaykum

Jazakallahu khayr

It don't function with Firefox but with Internet explorer it's ok.

I have seen in Saudi tv 2 and they don't show Salat Fajr.

But you can see today Salat fajr at Makkah, by Sheikh Su'ud Shuraim : http://www.islam-fr.com

Wa salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

Yeah, I was there last year from July 24 - 8 Aug, alhamdulillah. :)

Sheikh Shuraim never led then, but we went back to Makkah on the 8th for our final umrah, then off to Jeddah, that morning Sheikh Shuraim had led. :p We weren't there for fajr though sooo.. :p (I checked on iHaram :statisfie ) We were supposed to go on the 5th-7th (anytime then) back to Makkah, but because my grandma was with us we could not go. (She's old and like 4 hours of travelling.. she wasn't too keen on it; she was already tired out anyway. :) )

Whether he is a descendant or not, he possesses a lot of Islamic knowledge so our respect for him should automatically increase. No one here is disrespecting him, nor has anyone spoken ill of him, alhamdulillah. Let's leave at that shall we??

No not million times sheikh shuraim is trillion times better than others
Is there gazillion times better? ;D

Sheikh Shuraim's voice is unnexplainably beautiful....It was his voice that made me get into listenning to Quraa and leaving music for good....

May Allah reward him for that which he has taught me (which is 5Juz+), and may Allah Preserve him!

Ameen.
